Anti-smoking campaign takes its message to remote Indigenous communities

Tobacco smoking in Indigenous communities is an issue that health authorities around the country have long been battling. Support workers say addiction comes from a range of deeper issues, including lower standards of housing and education. The problem has been found to be more acute as communities become more remote. Now an anti-smoking campaign is now trying to reach those areas, with the aim of providing resources for addicted smokers to help them quit.
