NRL round 13 LIVE: Roosters, Storm locked in low-scoring battle in the wet

The Storm force another dropout and Sam Walker blasts this one well over the sideline on the full. That hands possession to Melbourne in centre-field, and Harry Grant has come off the bench and is providing some organisation out of dummy-half.

But the Roosters are still defending brilliantly, Hugo Savala shutting down Sua Faalolo a couple of times down Melbourne’s right edge, and on the last tackle Sam Walker gets his hand to the ball so it’s yet another repeat set.

And finally, the visitors crack. Josh King plays the ball a metre shot of the tryline, Grant looks left then goes himself, brushes past King’s legs and scores. With Nick Meaney going off with injury, Faalogo converts.
