Combat Sports 2026: WWE to return to Australia, three-year deal with WA government, WWE Weekend Takeover, Wrestlepazlooza: Perth
The WWE have confirmed a historic partnership with the Western Australian Government which will see the state host WWE Weekend Takeovers annually over the next three years.
The landmark deal will bring WWE’s biggest and brightest stars to Perth, Western Australia as part of an expanded commitment to the state with the partnership to run through to 2028.
The first WWE Weekend Takeover under the new agreement will take place later this year with Perth set to host three major WWE events across four days.
RAC Arena will host Smackdown on Friday, December 11, before Wrestlepazlooza: Perth takes centre stage on Saturday, December 12.
The action will then continue at the same venue with Raw on Monday, December 14, giving Australian WWE fans a huge weekend on live entertainment featuring some of the biggest names in the company.
The partnership also marks a significant step in WWE’s growing presence in Australia following the succes of Elimination Chamber: Perth in 2024 and Crown Jewel: Perth in 2025 in which more than $58 million was generated for the state’s economy.

While tickets for the event are yet to become available, fans can register their interest now ahead of 2026 WWE Weekend Takeover.
