The Sharks took a 12-6 lead when they were awarded a controversial penalty try.
Teig Wilton out leapt Tyrell Sloan to catch a Sharks bomb but was held up by Sloan over the line.
However, as Sloan technically wrapped his arms around Wilton while the Sharks forward was in the air, the Bunker were of the belief that try would have been scored had Sloan not committed the infraction.
It’s a tough one to agree with as Sloan was going for the ball and couldn’t have done much more.
“That’s unfortunate for Tyrell Sloan because he didn’t do much wrong,” Dan Ginnane said.
“Interesting penalty try.”

MATCH PREVIEW
If the Sharks want to be taken seriously in the finals, they’re expected to take care of the Dragons when the two rivals clash at Kogarah.
It won’t be an easy task, with the Dragons’ confidence high after upsetting the Raiders last weekend.
Fresh off a contract extension, Dragons coach Shane Flanagan has named 19-year-old Hayden Buchanan to make his NRL debut.
A Gerrigong Lions junior, Buchanan will replace the injured Mat Feagai in the centres.
The Sharks meanwhile are chasing a possible top four spot, as they’ll be just one point behind the fourth-placed Panthers with a win on Saturday.
Cronulla are peaking at the right time of the season, having won their past four.
