How an army of volunteers shaped the Sydney Olympic Games

An army of 46,000 volunteers helped the smooth running of the Sydney Olympic Games. Among them was ‘super-volunteer’ Rosemary Mula, who has a long history of volunteering, including helping Pacific delegations. As Sydney marks 25 years since the Games, many of the volunteers maintain their connections and continue to carry a flame for Sydney 2000.
