Few would’ve predicted an early Saturday afternoon clash between Gold Coast and Adelaide in Round 4 would be sold as a blockbuster, but it’s the reality we live in.
Two of four remaining unbeaten sides in the competition, the Suns and Crows will meet at Carrara in an early-season crunch clash between top-eight contenders to kick off Super Saturday.
Damien Hardwick’s Suns, catapulting from a belting of Melbourne last Saturday, made just one change, recalling forward Ben Ainsworth for Nick Holman (omitted).

The visiting Crows, meanwhile, were forced to exclude the injured Josh Rachele, with Matthew Nicks’ match committee also resting veteran midfielder Matt Crouch for the clash.
Luke Nankervis and Lachie Murphy return to the side.
Adelaide must look to curtail influential Gold Coast ball-getter Matt Rowell, who dual premiership player David King believes has ‘shifted’ his game to another level.
“We know what he does at clearance, but there’s a shift — now he’s leg-driving out of traffic and getting high-quality possessions going forward. His game’s changed,” King told Fox Footy.
“You have to look at him now as a different player … he’s prepared to carry it, and he’s prepared to be a metres-gained (type of) player now as well.”
Rowell has increased his score involvements number to a scary 8.0 per game, with King making a bold claim.
“He’s probably the best centre-bounce player in the competition right now,” King stated.
