Prisoner swap deal thaws relations between Venezuela and the US

The United States has released a key ally of the Venezuela President in return for 10 American citizens in a major prisoner swap deal. In return, Venezuela released 20 political prisoners, as well as the fugitive known as “Fat Leonard”. President Nicolas Maduro says he hopes the deal will improve relations between the two countries.
