Jarome Luai absolutely gave it to Lachlan Galvin after an palm on the Bulldogs halfback, that resulted in a penalty to the Tigers.

Adam Doueihi beat multiple defenders before finding Jahream Bula, who put Jeral Skelton over for the first try of the afternoon.

Doueihi then raced away from deep in his own half before putting Jahream Bula over with a contentious pass for a long-range try as the Tigers extended their lead.

Api Koroisau darted out of dummyhalf, before putting the ball on a dime with an inch perfect grubber for Skelton to dive over for a double and make it 14-0.

Doueihi then pounced on a dropped ball from Matt Burton to outsprint several defenders in a stunning length of the field try.

Stephen Crichton put Jacob Preston through a hole to get the Bulldogs back in the game at 20-4 at the break.

Crichton then put Jacob Kiraz over after the break as the Bulldogs mounted a comeback.

Alex Seyfarth was sent to the sin bin for dangerous contact on Harry Hayes that saw the Bulldogs forward come off for a HIA.

Minutes early Jahream Bula was sent for an HIA of his own, but he passed it and returned, while Hayes was deemed a category two.

Stephen Crichton was placed on report for a high tackle on a slipping Taylan May, but was not sin-binned.

May was deemed a category one and was ruled out for the game. The Tigers took a penalty goal to make it a 14-point lead.

Luai capped a memorable day for the Tigers with a short ball for a charging Samuela Fainu to make it 28-8, but replays showed it went forward.
