NRL live: Gold Coast Titans vs Canberra Raiders, Parramatta Eels vs Warriors, Sydney Roosters vs Brisbane Broncos
46′ Penisini off straight after the try
Will Penisini scored his try despite a flying tackle attempt by Demitric Vaimauga and that’s warranted an HIA.
So Penisini is off and Charlie Guymer comes on.
I assume Dylan Walker will slot into centre.
41′ Second half is finally underway in Parramatta
After a lengthy delay for … some reason, the game is back underway.
And my lord, what a first hit-up from Demitric Vaimauga between Saxon Pryke and Dylan Walker.
39′ Another bizarre blunder by the Eels
It’s another kick-chase penalty conceded by Parramatta.
This time it’s Will Penisini blatantly running off his line to take out a charging Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
You’ve got to be smarter than that.
35′ Eels lose their challenge
Ronald Volkman is penalised for impeding Leka Halasima on a kick chase, and for some reason the Eels challenge.
It was a clear change of direction from Volkman, so it’s an unsuccessful challenge.
But Halasima knocks on the following play, so the Eels survive.
30′ Amazing try-saver by the Warriors
The Eels create space out on the left and Josh Addo-Carr has clear space ahead of him, but he has to wait for Ronald Volkman’s pass just for a moment. That gives the Warriors’ cover defence a chance to scramble, and Taine Tuaupiki and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak make it just in time to keep the ball centimetres off the ground.
23′ Did Roger Tuivasa-Sheck just get tackled into a try? Not according to the bunker
OK, bit on here.
Brian Kelly drops back on the last and the Warriors run it down the left wing.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck pins the ears back and steamrolls Brian Kelly, before being brought down 5 metres short.
He gets up, potentially to play on but then looking at the ref as if he’s keen to play the ball, when Kelly comes again to lay a shot on.
He tackles RTS over the tryline! It’s awarded on the field, but the bunker chimes in.
And there’s a loss of control from Tuivasa-Sheck, who I think was simply surprised to find himself over the tryline.
8′ Warriors win a crucial challenge
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is called for a knock-on after a bomb, but Mitchell Moses races up to Gerard Sutton to issue a captain’s challenge.
And he’s spot on as Josh Addo-Carr knocked on first into the Warriors winger.
4′ Wayde Egan comes reeling out of a tackle
The Warriors hooker is grabbing at the back of his head after getting bumped by Sean Russell.
It looked like we might have been in HIA territory, but I think he may have just been clipped in the ear by a late-arriving teammate.
1′ We have kick-off in Parramatta
The Eels have first use and Junior Paulo powers into the defence.
